I have decided to retire from dog training!
I have been mulling over the idea of letting go of dog training and have decided that, although I love my clients (human and canine), I have been doing this for almost 20 years, and there are some things that I wish to accomplish while I have the energy and motivation to do so!
Here are the important details:
I am no longer accepting new clients, but will continue working with current clients through May 15, 2022.
Clients with remaining sessions need to contact me by March 31, 2022, to arrange for training dates. I will provide email, phone, and text support through 2022.
I will be available for Zoom call consults. Please contact me for more information: 740-587-0429, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
My contact information will remain the same, so please stay in touch!
So what will I be doing? Thank you for asking!
I will continue to blog about dogs and co-host Your Family Dog with Tina Spring. And, as many of you know, I have written a novel and am currently at work on editing it and getting it published. I also have eight wonderful grandchildren to spend time with (ranging in age from 3 months to 12 years), dogs of my own to train and play with, and travel plans that I no longer wish to put off.
It has been one of my greatest joys to serve the people and dogs of central Ohio. I have learned so much from all of my clients, and am very grateful for the many slobbery kisses, wiggly hellos, and silky ears that have graced my life. Moreover, to have the opportunity to witness the joy that comes from dogs and their people learning to live together well has been an amazing, fulfilling, and humbling experience. I will be forever in your debt for enriching my life beyond measure.
Thank you, and please give your dog a treat from me.
