Welcome! I want your dog to be the best dog possible! Group classes or private training can help your canine companion become a loyal, well-behaved member of your family. Love your dog as much as he loves you.
I am Julie Fudge Smith. I have been training dogs professionally since 2003 and started a positive connection in 2007. I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. I am committed to humane, dog friendly services which will provide you with individualized family dog training, dog behavior assessments, and Canine Good Citizen® training and evaluations. I want to help your dog achieve his goal of becoming a well-mannered member of the family.
Quirky animal behaviors have inspired my line of animalcentric designs, a collection of whimsical drawings that encapsulate the goofy, loving, and fulfilling aspects of life with animals.
Soon to be launched is A Dog Trainer’s Guide to Pet Sitting, an online program that teaches pet sitters how to improve their services by learning to apply dog-training skills to pet care.
I’m dedicated to helping you develop a positive connection with your dog that will lead to a lifetime of fun and learning through private and group obedience classes. I want to know what you consider to be a well-mannered dog so that I can design a program that will help you achieve your training goals. Please call 740-587-0429.
animalcentric designs grew out of drawings I did for pet sitting clients over the last six years. While detailing the events of the day, I found that the pets inspired me to view the world from a different perspective. I invite you to join this world through my calendars and notecards, and continue to check back for future merchandise! Please call 740-587-0429.
